This PVC saddle is commonly used for emergency repair of leaking pipe. It's easy to install. First unscew the PVC saddle. Locate the split on the saddle and clip the saddle fitting in from above the pipe. Insert the inner core that comes with the PVC saddle fitting. Then insert the locking nut. To avoid water leakage, a threaded plug which you will need to purchase seperately can be directly added to the other end.
